Mez’s Costumes maintains full ownership of the products until full payment has been confirmed.
It is still possible to cancel your order if it hasn’t been sent. Contact us and we will help you. If your order has been sent, you will have to return the products in order to receive a refund. Shipping charges will not be refunded and you will be liable to pay for shipping to return the item(s). It is not possible to change your order once it has been submitted. (if you made a mistake please contact us immediately and will endeavor to help you) This also includes changing the size or color of a product, removing an item, changing the delivery address or payment method. All packages are sent via courier from our store in Galway. Your order will be sent within 1 working days after it has been placed.
The normal delivery time once your package has left our warehouse is:
(i) 1 working day within Ireland.
(ii) 2 working days within Ireland at busy shopping times.
(iii)We do not delivery to any other destinations at present.
If nobody is at the address when our courier makes the delivery, a note is left in the mailbox and and you will have to contact the courier to arrange a more suitable time to receive delivery. If delivery is not possible, the package will be returned to us. When you find the note in your mailbox contact the courier to arrange another delivery address, time or tell them the package can be left in your back yard etc.
You can have your package delivered to your work address if this is more convenient for you. Include this as your Delivery Address when completing your purchase. Please note that it is not possible to make a delivery to a PO box.
There are no returns or exchanges on change of mind items.
Should an item be faulty you should let us know within 7 working days of purchase. If the item is proven faulty at time of purchase you will be entitled to either a repair, replacement, credit note or refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
All items returned must be posted to Mez's Masquerade, No 5 Middle Street, Galway City, Galway. If we are happy this was faulty at time of purchase we will refund the cost of postage and packaging to you.
All items must be free of smoke, perfume or any other odour, if not there will be no refund and the cost of postage and packaging of the return will not be refunded to you, we will then send the costume back to you (at your cost) or destroy it. As all items are checked at time of dispatch, so this is unlikely to happen.
You must pay for the shipping to return the goods and this must also be arranged by yourself. The goods are your responsibility until they reach our store. Please ensure you pack the return safely to prevent any damage to the products or boxes.
How much is your delivery charge?
At present we only ship within Ireland and offer a standard shipping charge for next day delivery.

How to return a product
Please note that when you return a product it is very important to state the order number as well as your name and address. Without these details we will not be able to process your refund or exchange. Furthermore, a detailed description of the problem is necessary – if you have a claim. Remember to provide us with a receipt for your freight charges if we have to reimburse them.

It can take up to 14 days for us to receive your return, depending on which postal service you use. Once we have received the returned products, we will inspect them and process the refund within 48 hours.
